Contact-First Infield Bat With Clutch Upside for Longwood
Mac Tufts looks like a useful **middle-infield option** because the available 2026 game notes show him contributing in key moments, including an RBI single in Longwood’s home opener and consistent involvement in competitive game action. His appeal is less about gaudy power numbers and more about **situational hitting, composure, and lineup fit**—the kind of player who can keep innings alive and execute when it matters. For a team wanting a steady, competitive infielder who can add value without needing the spotlight, he profiles as a practical fit.
