Demetre Rivers brings size, shooting, and steady two-way value to Mercer
Rivers is a **6-8 guard** whose Mercer profile points to a polished, versatile wing/guard fit: as a sophomore he started 33 of 34 games and averaged **9.7 points** and **3.2 rebounds**, while ESPN lists his later Mercer production at **10.9 points**, **3.0 rebounds**, and efficient shooting splits, including strong free-throw accuracy[4][5]. His value is less about highlight volatility and more about dependable minutes, floor spacing, and lineup flexibility—useful if you want a mature, low-drama connector who can guard multiple spots and won’t need the offense built around him[2][4][5].
