Hayley Wieczerzak is a strikeout-heavy two-way threat for UAlbany
Wieczerzak is trending as one of UAlbany’s most valuable arms, earning America East Pitcher of the Week honors in 2026 after fanning 27 batters in 19.2 innings, and she finished the season with a 3.08 ERA and 127 strikeouts. She pairs swing-and-miss stuff with competitive durability and versatility, and UAlbany’s own roster notes five complete games in 77 innings, while a conference post highlighted her as the toughest pitcher to hit against in league play. If you want a pitcher who can miss bats and handle real workload, she fits.
