Owen Simmons is Campbell’s clutch right-hander with a winning streak of trust
In the 2026 season, Owen Simmons has been a valuable swing piece for Campbell, logging 35.0 innings with a 4-2 record, 17 walks, 30 strikeouts, and a 1.49 WHIP while also earning a win over No. 14 NC State with three scoreless innings and a first save against UNCW[2][4][6]. What makes him interesting is the competitive profile: he’s been used in pressure spots, can work as both a starter and late-inning arm, and has shown enough poise to help close out ranked-opponent wins[2][6].
