Freshman infielder Luis Acevedo is already flashing pop for N.C. A&T
In the 2026 season, Luis Acevedo has started to separate himself as a freshman infielder for North Carolina A&T by showing real gap-to-gap power and timely run production, including his first career home run on March 8, 2026 and an RBI performance against High Point on April 14, 2026.[3][11] The stat sheet hints at a developing two-way contributor, but the bigger draw is a young, coachable bat with enough offensive upside to matter quickly in the lineup.[1][7]
