Workhorse Friday/Saturday arm with flashes, but command is the swing skill
In the 2026 season, South Alabama junior RHP Ryland Bozenhard logged 47.0 innings with a 6.51 ERA, 33 strikeouts, and 25 walks, showing he can eat frames while also fighting consistency. His best trait is competitiveness: he earned wins in back-to-back starts against Georgia Southern and Marshall, and he threw 5.2 scoreless-in-spirit innings with zero walks against Marshall while working efficiently on just 64 pitches. The fit is clearer for teams that value toughness and starter traits, but his strike-throwing and run prevention still need sharpening.
