Cortez Edwards brings veteran two-way guard production and high-minute reliability
Cortez Edwards has been a steady, high-usage guard for Southern Miss, with career value built on toughness, rebounding from the perimeter, and playmaking more than pure scoring flash. In his Southern Miss seasons, he logged major minutes and posted strong all-around numbers, including 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game while starting all 33 games in one standout campaign.[6] He fits best as a dependable, physical backcourt piece who can handle responsibility, defend, and impact winning without needing the offense built around him.[5][6]
