Boise State’s JJ Talo is a trench depth piece with upside
JJ Talo enters the 2026 season as a redshirt junior offensive lineman for Boise State, a former high-school defensive standout who has grown into a 6-foot-3, 305-pound interior blocker. In 2025, he appeared in 11 games, mostly on the field-goal/PAT unit, so the tape is still light, but his value is in the raw tools: power, size, and a background as a top-100 defensive end prospect that hints at real athletic upside. He looks like a developmental fit for a program that loves versatile trench talent.
