Nicco Marchiol brings veteran steadiness to Northwestern’s QB room
In the 2026 season, Nicco Marchiol arrives at Northwestern as a 6-foot-2, 235-pound redshirt junior with game experience, dual-threat flashes, and a reputation for toughness after battling through a foot injury in 2025 at West Virginia. He has thrown for 1,462 career yards and 10 touchdowns, and the big differentiator is his left-handed, physical style: he can manage structure, add movement, and give a staff a steady backup or competition piece in the room. If you want upside with experience rather than a raw project, he fits.
