Young UCA arm with swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Luke Lorence has flashed strikeout ability in relief for Central Arkansas, including a pair of punchouts against Arkansas in March 2025, but his results have been uneven and he’s still settling in at the college level[5][10][11]. The appeal is the arm talent: he was profiled as a right-handed pitcher with a strong frame and athletic actions, suggesting more development ahead[1]. If your team wants a competitor with upside rather than a polished finished product, Lorence is an intriguing bet—good ingredients, still cooking.
