Charleston Southern’s Data-Driven RHP with Elite Intensity and 6-2 Power Frame
Quincy Thornton, a 6-2, 205-lb Redshirt Junior RHP for Charleston Southern, stands out not just for his 2025 D1 stats at Tennessee Martin but for his relentless intensity and ‘Steel City Select’ travel team pedigree that fuels his high-velocity outings. His Morgantown, WV roots and 2021 prep class background reveal a player who thrives under pressure, with no known injury history and a personality that elevates team morale. While his current 2026 stats at Southern University are pending, his track record as a D1-caliber arm with a 200+ lb frame makes him a prime fit for teams needing a durable, high-intensity right-hander who can anchor a rotation or deliver in clutch moments.
