In the 2025-26 season, Portland State guard Brycen Long is a low-usage but useful senior contributor, averaging 3.0 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 10.5 minutes per game while shooting 37.3% from three after transferring in as a graduate senior.[1][2][4] His best differentiator is his catch-and-shoot value and experience: earlier in his Houston Christian career he showed real perimeter pop, including 14.8 points per game and 41.6% three-point shooting in the 2022-23 season, and Portland State brought him in for veteran spacing and steadiness.[3] He looks like a fit for a team that wants a composed, older guard who can stretch the floor and survive in a supporting role rather than demand the ball.[1][3][9]
