Tonya Marks, Morgan State's 5'8" shortstop, stands out as the MEAC 2026 Preseason First Team pick, driven by a rare blend of defensive precision and relentless game-intensity that statistics alone can't capture. Transferring from Harford C.C. with an Associate's degree, she brings a mature, battle-tested mindset and zero injury history, making her a high-fit, low-risk addition for any team needing a leader who elevates teammates under pressure.
