Luke Anderson brings size, shooting touch, and veteran polish to JMU’s front line
In the 2024-25 season, Luke Anderson was a redshirt senior forward for James Madison who played 13 games and averaged 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds while shooting 40.7% from the field and 35.3% from three. He’s the kind of experienced, stretch-forward piece teams love: a 6-foot-7, 225-pound veteran who can space the floor, rebound his area, and has a strong résumé from Florida Southern, where he averaged 19.8 points and 8.0 boards the prior season. The wild card is durability and availability after he left the team late in the season for personal reasons, so he’s intriguing—but not exactly plug-and-play.
