Wesley Moore brings size, strikeout history, and bullpen depth to Georgia State
In the 2025-26 season, Georgia State right-hander Wesley Moore profiles as a big-bodied, experienced arm at 6-foot-7 and 205 pounds, with prior college stops at Chipola, Central Alabama CC, and UAB before landing in Atlanta. His track record shows swing-and-miss ability—24 strikeouts in 20.2 innings in 2023 and 19 strikeouts in 21.0 innings in 2024—suggesting a pitcher who can miss bats when his stuff is right. The downside: he has been used sparingly at the highest level, so the upside is more projectable than proven, but the size, experience, and strikeout flashes make him an intriguing fit for a staff that wants arm talent with some upside.
