Tommy McAndrews gives Fordham elite catcher production with power, polish, and captain energy
In the 2026 season, Tommy McAndrews was Fordham’s offensive engine at catcher, hitting .332 with 15 home runs, 53 RBI, and a .396 average in Atlantic 10 play, while finishing second all-time in Rams history with 31 career homers. He’s a rare catcher who brings middle-of-the-order pop, run production, and leadership as a three-year team captain and three-time academic all-district pick. The fit? Very strong if a team wants a tough, productive backstop who handles the spotlight and delivers in big conference spots.
