Szymon Zapala is a **reliable, low-mistake big** who gave Michigan State 4.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 21 blocks in 36 starts during the 2024-25 season, while shooting 65.3% from the field and 65.9% at the line.[15] His best fit is as a physical rim protector and screens-and-rebounds center who can finish efficiently, but he is not yet a high-usage scorer and his value depends more on steady defense, toughness and positional size than on creating offense.[15][17]
