Aundre Gibson brings length and developmental upside at Kansas, but his 2026 status is in flux
Gibson is a 5'10" Kansas cornerback with a modest **EA SPORTS College Football 26 rating of 67**, suggesting a developmental defender rather than a finished product, and reporting indicates he planned to enter the transfer portal in late 2025, which makes his current fit and roster value uncertain.[1][2] He is worth watching if you need a DB with upside and a fresh start candidate, but the key question is whether he can translate practice growth into consistent, game-ready coverage impact.
