Ciara Farrar is a rising arm for South Carolina State with proven big-game bounce-back ability
In the 2026 season, Ciara Farrar has given South Carolina State a steady, reliable look in the circle, including a complete-game win over Coppin State and a team-best stretch that helped the Bulldogs hit their strongest start in over a decade.[4][13][15] The 5-foot-10 right-hander brings size, poise, and proven strike-throwing upside, and her prep résumé already showed a pitcher who could handle responsibility and leadership off the field as well.[5] She’s a fit for teams that value competitive toughness, innings-eating potential, and a pitcher who can settle in after adversity; her 2025 run also earned her MEAC Pitcher of the Week honors after a 0.78 ERA week.[7]
