Jayden Gohs is already giving Louisville a weekend starter feel
In the 2026 season, Louisville freshman right-hander Jayden Gohs emerged as a steady arm, posting a 3.12 ERA in 51.2 innings with a 4-1 record, 31 strikeouts, a 1.45 WHIP, a complete game, a shutout, and two saves; earlier in March, Louisville noted she led the staff with a 3.11 ERA and three wins, which tracks with how quickly she handled a bigger role. What makes her interesting is the mix of poise and versatility—she’s not just eating innings, she’s giving the Cardinals multiple usable looks out of the circle. For a team, that means a pitcher with real swing-and-move value, especially if you want an arm that can start, relieve, and compete under pressure.
