In the 2026 season, Bryson Thacker showed swing-and-miss stuff for West Virginia, striking out 13 in 10.0 innings, but his command wavered enough that he also issued plenty of traffic. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound LHP brings real upside: he came from Tennessee after logging 7 strikeouts in 4.1 scoreless innings in 2025, and he was once ranked the No. 52 left-handed pitcher nationally as a high school senior. Why care? Because the arm is good, the pedigree is strong, and if the control tightens, he profiles as a useful bullpen piece with late-inning upside.
