Harvard Sophomore RHP with Proven Prep Pedigree and Room to Grow
Owen Tahnk, a 6'3", 205-lb right-handed pitcher for Harvard, posted a 6.75 ERA with 3 strikeouts and a 0-1 record in limited 2026 sophomore action, building on a stellar high school career capped by All-League honors at Phillips Exeter in 2024 and Team MVP in 2023. A former Newburyport standout with All-State nods, his leadership as captain and postgraduate polish set him apart as a competitor with upside—frame screams projection, exit velo at 82 mph hints at arm strength potential. Ideal for programs seeking gritty, Ivy-caliber arms ready to develop intensity into innings-eating reliability.
