Khalil Jefferson brings a long, lean, high-upside frame to Indiana State’s defensive front
A 2026 freshman DL for Indiana State, Khalil Jefferson is listed at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds and arrives as a versatile, athletic prospect with real developmental upside rather than a finished product. His high school résumé at South Putnam included 10.5 sacks, 75 tackles, and 26 hurries, plus he was active enough to contribute on offense and on the basketball court, which hints at burst and movement skill. The big question for a fit is ceiling: he looks like a moldable, high-motor defender who could grow into a disruptive piece as he adds strength and polish.
