Kuol Atak is a stretch-big with real scoring upside, but still a developmental piece for Oklahoma
In his freshman college season, Atak has shown he can score in bursts and punish defenses with unusual shooting touch for a 6'9 forward, highlighted by a career-high 24 points against Mississippi Valley State and season averages around 7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He was a productive high-school big man and is widely viewed as a skilled, aggressive offensive prospect, but his current college impact is still limited by modest rebounding and overall physical consistency. If you want a frontcourt player with long-term upside and floor-spacing potential, he’s intriguing; if you need an immediate rim-protecting rebounder, he’s not there yet.
