CMU’s high-contact, high-IQ spark plug in center field
Emma Lotus entered 2026 as a senior outfielder for Central Michigan, and her 2025 breakout shows why she matters: a .311 average overall, .369 in MAC play, 38 hits, 28 runs, 17 walks, just 10 strikeouts, and 10-for-11 on stolen bases. The differentiator is the combo platter—left-handed bat, speed, on-base discipline, and steady defense in center field (.976 fielding percentage). Add in a two-way vibe of hustle plays, Academic All-MAC recognition, and a reputation for getting on base without giving away outs, and she looks like a smart fit for teams valuing pressure, consistency, and upbeat edge.
