BJ Rodriguez is a dependable lefty arm with a solid strikeout profile for Fresno State
In the 2026 season, BJ Rodriguez has given Fresno State a steady left-handed option on the mound, posting a 3.76 ERA with a 1-1 record and 21 strikeouts. His profile suggests a pitcher who can miss bats and provide versatility as a LHP/outfield piece, which adds roster flexibility beyond the box score. At 5'11", 170, he looks more like a command-and-competitiveness pitcher than a pure power arm, and that kind of reliability can be really useful for a staff looking for matchup value and depth.
