Long, versatile FAU wing with real two-way upside
In the 2025-26 season, Amar Amkou has been a useful rotation piece for Florida Atlantic, averaging 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and shooting 42.7% from the field and 36.4% from three across 24 games. His biggest differentiator is size: at 6-foot-7, he gives FAU a guard/wing look that can switch defensively, compete on the glass, and space the floor. He also has a strong developmental profile—he was a redshirt freshman after arriving from NBA Academy Africa, so the upside is still very much in play. If your team wants length, shooting and an international prospect with room to grow, he’s worth a look.
