2026 All-OVC Freshman LHP with Elite K/9 and Redshirt Intensity
Matt Wnukowski, the 6'3" lefty for Southeast Missouri State, earned 2026 All-Ohio Valley Conference Freshman Team honors despite a 6.00 ERA, showcasing elite differentiators: 36 strikeouts in 27 innings (13.3 K/9) and a 2025 redshirt year that built unmatched intensity and pitch maturity. His 2024 national ranking (51st overall LHP) and Cangelosi Sparks travel pedigree confirm elite stuff, while his left-left profile and 195-lb frame offer ideal fit for teams needing a high-velocity, high-mindset LHP who thrives under pressure and avoids injury history.
