Marquis Godwin brings veteran scoring touch and wing size to Hampton
Godwin is a 6-foot-5 guard who has shown he can score in bunches, highlighted by a 27-point career high at Hampton and a 10.0-point, 3.5-rebound average in the 2020-21 season. He is a fit if you want a bigger guard with experience, shot-creation upside, and a proven feel for the college game; his earlier Old Dominion season ended with injury, so durability and consistency are the main questions. Recent stat lines also show he has been a modest-volume scorer rather than a high-usage star, which matters for projection.
