Dorian Davis is a depth DB with real run-support bite, but his Michigan State role has been limited
In the 2025 season, Dorian Davis played just seven defensive snaps in one appearance for Michigan State, but he made them count with two tackles, including a 3-yard tackle for loss against Youngstown State. He’s a 6-0, 198-pound redshirt junior from Detroit who has mostly contributed on special teams, which tells you the staff has trusted his effort and physicality more than volume. The upside here is a tough, versatile defensive back who can hit and help on the margins; the drawback is that he has not yet shown sustained game impact, and reports in mid-2026 indicated he was no longer with the program.
