Paul Baxter brings steady guard production and veteran feel to Sam Houston
Paul Baxter is a **6'2" guard** who gave Sam Houston reliable backcourt production, averaging **8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists** with **41.7%** shooting in the season tracked by ESPN. He played in **33 games** and had a **23-point** outburst against Northwestern State, showing he can contribute in bursts when needed. What makes him useful is the guard skill set: he can score, handle, and help organize an offense without needing the ball every possession. If your team wants a dependable, versatile guard rather than a pure high-usage scorer, Baxter fits that mold.[1][4][3]
