Braye Bernard brings steady infield depth and contact-first reliability to Grambling
In the 2025 season, Bernard posted a .200 batting average with a .400 on-base percentage and .733 slugging in limited offensive volume, while also logging a strong .833 fielding percentage defensively for Grambling State[2]. The bigger story is her profile: a junior infielder from New Iberia who has stuck on the roster and offers positional flexibility, workmanlike defense, and a low-drama, team-first presence that coaches tend to love[1][12]. If you need a dependable depth piece who can handle the infield and keep the lineup moving, Bernard fits the bill.
