CSUN’s Jack Jones is a live-arm lefty on the rise
Jack Jones, a sophomore LHP for Cal State Northridge in the 2026 season, brings legit pitchability and volume potential after logging 6.2 innings with 7 strikeouts in relief, and he was being worked toward his first career start in mid-March after handling multi-inning duty[1][2]. At 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, the Lompoc native came in as a high-school Pitcher of the Year and carries the kind of starter profile coaches love: competitive, left-handed, and already trusted in leverage by CSUN[1][4][6]. If you need a developing innings-eater with upside, he’s a name worth circling.
