Tracy Hector Jr. brings old-school glue-guy toughness to FGCU
In the 2019 season, Tracy Hector Jr. arrived at FGCU as a 6-foot-5 transfer forward with a reputation for doing a little bit of everything: he had previously averaged 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and just over 1 steal per game at Florida A&M, and before that was the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year at South Georgia State after posting 15.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 3.1 steals per game. He looks like the kind of versatile, hard-nosed connector who can defend, rebound, make plays and quietly tilt a game without needing the spotlight.
