Jayden House brings veteran strength to UTRGV’s defensive front
In the 2026 season, Jayden House is a 6-foot-2, 275-pound senior DL for UTRGV, and the Vaqueros’ own preseason preview singled out him as part of the defensive line group that does the “dirty work” and anchors the defense. He appears to be a trusted returning piece after starting more than half of the team’s games last season, which usually signals reliability, toughness, and scheme trust more than flashy box-score production. If a team wants a physical, steady interior presence with experience and edge, House looks like a strong fit.
