Luis Cedeno brings speed, defense, and contact value to Marist’s outfield
In the 2026 season, Luis Cedeno has been a glove-first, speed-driven piece for Marist, appearing in 24 games and posting a .125 batting average with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in the outfield. His value is less about power and more about disruptive baserunning and dependable defense—he’s already credited with stolen-base impact and run-scoring moments in Marist game recaps. The fit is clear if a team wants energy, range, and pressure on the bases; the caution flag is that the bat has yet to catch up to the athleticism.
