bullpen depth arm with some pop from the right side
In the 2026 season, Landon Gross is a right-handed pitcher on UNC Asheville’s roster who profiles as a useful bullpen piece rather than a headline-grabber, and that can still matter a lot. He arrived after being named the 2025 Region X Reliever of the Year at USC Sumter, which hints at late-inning toughness and a comfort level pitching in leverage. At 6-foot-0, 165 pounds, he looks like a compact, competitive reliever who gives Asheville strike-throwing depth and matchup flexibility. If your team needs a fiery, low-maintenance arm who can handle short relief bursts, he’s worth a look.
