Mackenzie Hoover brings grit, outfield versatility, and proven high-school pop to RMU
Hoover is a Robert Morris outfielder from Sidman, Pa., and her recruiting profile highlighted a multi-sport background, a 2021 all-conference first-team nod, and experience against strong travel-ball competition—good signs of toughness, competitiveness, and coachability. In RMU’s 2025 stats, she appeared as a low-volume offensive contributor, but the bigger takeaway is her profile as a reliable depth piece with athletic upside rather than a pure stat-stuffer. She looks like the kind of player who can fit a team that values energy, versatility, and a high motor over flash.
