A former five-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American, Daimion Collins gives South Florida a high-motor, above-the-rim presence who impacts games as a rebounder and shot blocker. In the 2025-26 season, he appeared in 33 games, averaging 4.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 14.1 minutes, while ranking second on the team and seventh in The American with 47 blocks. The big sell: instant defensive disruption, lob-finishing, and versatile frontcourt tools; the concern: limited half-court creation, an inconsistent jumper, and a career that has been interrupted by injuries, including a shoulder issue in 2023-24.
