6'4 freshman guard with upside and a long runway at George Fox
Rylan Nelson is a freshman guard for George Fox in the 2025-26 season, listed at 6'4 and 175 pounds, and he entered college with a strong prep résumé as a two-time SCAC Second Team All-League selection at Cashmere HS. In limited 2025-26 action, he logged 7.0 minutes in one game and is still in the early stages of his college role, so the real story is projection: size for the position, guard skills, and room to develop into a versatile backcourt piece. He looks like a fit for a team that values patience, length, and developmental upside.
