Alabama State’s 6-9 rim protector can swing games on both ends
Demetrius Houston is a 6-9 forward whose value comes from size, shot-blocking, and interior activity rather than big scoring volume; he has flashed a game-changing defensive ceiling, including a 15-point, 8-rebound, 5-block outing, and previously showed he can contribute in a limited role at Mississippi State. At Alabama State, his appeal is the combination of length, motor, and defensive disruption — the kind of frontcourt piece that can fit a team needing a physical paint presence and versatile energy without needing the offense built around him.
