Jake Schultz is Bucknell’s rising right-hander with real swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Bucknell RHP Jake Schultz showed frontline-starter traits when healthy, highlighted by a six-scoreless-inning, six-strikeout gem against Lehigh that earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honors. He returned after more than a year away because of an arm injury, and Bucknell reported he reached 93 mph in his March return, which makes the interest here obvious: power stuff, starter frame, and competitiveness. The caution flag is durability, but if a staff wants an athletic strike-thrower with legitimate mid-rotation upside, Schultz is worth a close look.
