Exodus Ayers brings size, speed and early-playmaking upside to Oregon State’s secondary
Ayers flashed as a true freshman in 2024, playing in eight games and finishing with 21 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and two pass breakups, while earning praise for his range and physicality. He also has a proven ball-hawking background from high school, where he starred as a multi-phase playmaker. However, he did not play in 2025, so the biggest question is whether he can regain that momentum and remain a dependable fit in the secondary.
