Horace Simmons Jr. is Drexel’s high-upside 6-6 sharpshooting forward
In the 2024-25 season, Horace Simmons Jr. showed real microwave scoring juice for Drexel: he played in 18 games, averaged 2.2 points, and hit 44.0% from three, capped by a 24-point debut in which he went 8-for-9 from deep. That kind of spacing threat at 6-6 makes him intriguing for lineups that need size and shot-making on the wing. He’s still early in his college arc, so the big question is consistency—but when his jumper is cooking, he can bend a defense in a hurry.
