Gritty Junior G/F Anchors Schreiner’s Defense in NAIA Road Wins
Felipe Valls, a 6-foot-3 junior guard-forward from Pflugerville, TX, stands out for his relentless defensive intensity and opportunistic offense, key factors in Schreiner’s gritty 71–66 road win over Southwestern in the 2024–25 season [1][2]. While his shooting from beyond the arc was inconsistent (16.7% in that game), Valls differentiates himself with a high-intensity, team-first personality and the versatility to play both guard and forward positions [1]. He’s an ideal fit for teams needing a tough, reliable defender who thrives in clutch road situations, though he’ll need to improve perimeter shooting to elevate his overall impact [2].
