UAB’s 6-foot-10 interior anchor who wins with length, rebounding, and rim protection
In the 2026 season, Gueye profiles as a big, physical forward for UAB at 6-10 and 210 pounds, bringing size, rebounding, and defensive versatility that coaches love in a glue guy[1]. His value goes beyond box-score noise: he has been known more for activity than flashy scoring, with a career baseline of solid boards and efficient finishing, and his calling card is defending the paint, cleaning the glass, and making life annoying for opponents[3][6]. If your team needs a rim-protecting, rebound-crashing frontcourt piece rather than a primary scorer, he’s a strong fit[1][3].
