Big-frame righty returning from Tommy John recovery
Minaberry is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound right-hander at Florida Atlantic whose appeal starts with a starter’s frame and a low-80s fastball that showed natural arm-side run, plus a usable slider and changeup with sinking action during his Indian River days in 2024-25[1][5]. FAU lists him as taking a redshirt year after offseason Tommy John surgery, so the big question is health and timeline rather than raw upside[1]. If your team wants a developmental arm with pitchability, physicality, and room to rebound, he’s the kind of bet that can quietly pay off later[1][5].
