Ex-Wolfpack Scorer Now Proving It Overseas After G League Stint
Jericole Hellems, the 6-7 NC State forward who lit up the ACC with 13.7 PPG in his standout 2021-22 season (3rd on the team) including a 24-point explosion vs. Miami, has transitioned to pro ball—averaging modest 2.0 PPG in limited G League action with Stockton Kings before signing with Toros Laguna in Mexico's CIBACOBA. His athleticism, scoring versatility inside-out, and relentless motor make him a high-energy wing differentiator, though past hospital release (pre-2023) flags durability watch. Ideal fit for teams needing gritty, undrafted upside—not an NBA lock, but a proven college bucket-getter worth scouting for depth.
