Aviyon Smith-Mack brings slot-speed energy and proven YAC pop to Sam Houston
Aviyon Smith-Mack, a 5-foot-8 senior WR for Sam Houston in 2026, looks like a quick-hit weapon rather than a volume stat hog: after 15 catches for 270 yards in the 2024 season at LIU, he flashed big-play ability with a 107-yard game against Robert Morris and has been described as a compact, versatile receiver with return-game value. He’s the kind of fit for an offense that wants separation, toughness, and after-the-catch juice—small frame, big nuisance factor, and just enough explosiveness to make defenders miss and coaches smile.
