Josiah Freeman brings veteran wing value and steady two-way utility for Western Michigan
In the 2021-22 season, Josiah Freeman gave Western Michigan a reliable 6-4 guard/wing presence, averaging 4.2 points and 1.3 rebounds while starting 19 of 31 games; earlier 247Sports data also showed a broader all-around profile with 4.6 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.3 steals per game. His calling card is versatility: he’s not a volume-star stat-chaser, but a physical, experienced connector who can defend, space the floor, and play within structure. For a team that values toughness, maturity, and low-drama fit, he looks like a useful glue guy.
